Craggy Range 'Aroha'
Varietal | Pinot Noir

Aroha is a romantic word in the Māori language of New Zealand meaning love. Reflective of its namesake, Aroha is handcrafted with passion from two unique parcels of Pinot Noir, including one of the legendary Abel clone. The fruit is grown on a slope of an elevate terrace of fertile land at the Te Muna Road vineyard where an ancient dried river bed delivered nutrient rich soil perfect for growing Pinot Noir.
Craggy Range produces a wide range of wines, led by the five wines of the Prestige Collection. Sophia, the flagship wine, is a Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, while The Quarry is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon. Le Sol is a Syrah, and Les Beaux Cailloux an elegant single-block Chardonnay. The fifth, Aroha, is a spicy, complex Pinot Noir from Martinborough.
